That said, here’s the options you can use with the Selection Tool:Īlright, that first option, the Autoselect layer, is to just to easily drag whatever is on your current layer around without actually selecting anything, so it automatically drags EVERYTHING on a layer around all at once. Keep in mind, if you use ANY of the other selection tools, you can still use these options on those selected areas, so long as you switch to the Selection Tool. Now, this tool is useful because it has several option that are unique to itself and can only be accessed by using this tool.
Of course, like with other selection tools, if you switch to the Selection Brush, or the Deselction Brush, you can expand or modify the selected area. And like with other programs, you get this: Since this isn’t exactly a brush, to use this, you just click and drag to cover the area you want to select, so…just like with other programs. That said, today’s tool is the Selection tool….which works like it does in every program….Īlright, this is the selection tool, which….works the exact same way as it does in any other program, with a few additions. Well, I know I said I wanted to get into painting and such a couple days ago…but I also said I wanted to go over a few more tools first, because I want to give a bit of a basic idea for using them first.
